Initial Adjustment Support Program for Immigrants
The program aims to provide newly arrived foreigners with necessary information such as useful everyday information and basic law to help them adapt smoothly to Korean society
Who can participate?
Newly arrived foreigners
- Mandatory
- working visit visa holders, foreign entertainers working in hotels·entertainment industry
- Voluntary
- marriage migrants, immigrated youth born to multicultural families, international students, foreigners living in ethnic enclaves, seasonal worker
Benefits : marriage migrants are granted 2 years of stay
What are the courses?
Common Course
- Mandatory
- 2 hours on basic law·order, useful everyday information, immigration system, etc.
- Special Course
- 1 hour for working visit visa holders (procedure on acquiring nationality) marriage migrants (promoting mutual understanding among family members), foreign entertainers working in hotels and the entertainment industry (protection of human rights), etc.
